After December 31, the last day of the year, service will be halted on some mobile models Whats Up Company announced.
The Whats Up service will be halted on the mobile devices including BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8.0. This means that BlackBerry and Windows Mobile users can not use Whats Up since January 1, 2018 on their devices. Watts Up, which issued a press release, was first announced on December 31, 2016 that the Whats Up will not work on these mobile phones. The deadline for customer requests was extended until June 30, 2017. It was extended again until December 2017. However, the above mentioned software is not available on mobile phones anymore. Whats Up App has requested that those affected by their decision to communicate with their friends, family, and loved ones may use modern mobile phones. Similarly, on February 1, 2020, Whats Up will be halted at the Android 2.3.7 and earlier models.
